Dillon Samaratunga - CEO
Hi, I'm Dillon Samaratunga from Dreamwealth Financial Strategists. With over 25 years of experience in the finance industry, I have a strong understanding of the challenges of running a practice, including areas such as compliance, SOAs, staff, attracting new clients, work bottlenecks, and maintaining cash flow, positioning me as the ideal candidate to help manage both personal and corporate finances.
According to Michael Gerber’s book, The E-Myth Revisited, to be successful in business, we need to be master jugglers of three functions: Technician, Manager, and Entrepreneur. Most financial planners are great technicians but struggle as managers and entrepreneurs – this is where Dreamwealth Outsourcing Solutions comes in. We help run the back end of your business so you can focus more on your clients and your life.
Growing up in Sri Lanka before moving to and running a business in Australia, I offer a unique understanding of offshore working culture. Subsequently, I have been able to deliver cost-advantageous solutions and employees from my home country for the last seven years.
I believe in creating a strong work-life balance – something I have worked hard to achieve since beginning my business. I am proud to offer a solution to help my fellow financial planners achieve this, through implementing effective staffing teams to help businesses operate smarter, not harder, and allowing for time to prioritise life outside of work.
As an advisor, I am passionate about providing sound financial advice to my clients, but as a person, I am proud to lead people towards achieving their goals. I believe that forging relationships with clients is key to understanding how best to help them – it is not just about money and product to me, it is about helping individuals.
